On May 18, in the framework of the UNESCO City of Literature initiative, Kutaisi will host Interweaving narratives of female writers from Georgia and Armenia / Georgian-Armenian Cultural Dialogue.

The annual Re-Lentus event, dedicated to honouring and mainstreaming female artists and cultural practitioners as well as promoting the Georgian-Armenian cultural dialogue, will unite writers, publishers, and literary agents this year.

Guest speakers from Armenia will join us in Kutaisi, a UNESCO City of Literature, to delve into the longstanding literary dialogue between Armenia and Georgia, discuss the portrayal of regional wars and conflicts in contemporary Armenian literature, and offer insights into new horizons and perspectives for presenting Armenian literature globally. All reflections on recent developments in the Armenian literary field will be presented through the lens of personal experiences and the professional endeavours of our guests from Armenia.

The organizers of the project are: Culture and Management Lab (Georgia) and Cultural & Social Narratives Lab (Armenia) with the support of the Danish Cultural Institute (DCI) within the New Democracy Fund (NDF) programme.
