From July 1 to 5, 2024, the Portuguese city of Braga hosts the XVI Conference of UNESCO Creative Cities, in which, together with representatives of 350 creative cities from more than 100 countries around the world, the city of Kutaisi as a UNESCO city of literature participates. In parallel with the official program of the forum, various creative activities are taking place throughout the city.
The Literature Cities Network has organized the “BeCA Moving Library” focused on children’s books, parked at different locations across the city of Braga. It offers a wide range of works, from classics to contemporary, suitable for all ages, including illustrated books for babies and titles for teenagers. Throughout the week, various staged readings will be developed.
The Kutaisi City of Literature is presented at the moving libraries with national fairy tales illustrated books by the Georgian Publishing Houses.
