Kutaisi and Imereti in the Notes of 19th Century European Travelers

As part of the Kutaisi UNESCO City of Literature initiatives the presentation of the publication “Kutaisi and Imereti in the Notes of 19th Century European Travelers” was held on October 21st. The author is Dr. Tamaz Gvenetadze, Doctor of Philosophy, Germanist, translator, and publicist.
The book features works by notable travelers, including Johann Guldenstedt, Julius von Klaproth, Jacques Francois Gamba, Edouard von Eichwald, Marie-Frédéric Dubois de Montperre, Karl Heinrich Koch, Moritz Wagner, Friedrich von Bodenstedt, Alexandre Dumas, Carl von Hahn, Bertha and Arthur von Suttner, and Carla Serena, along with translations of notes by Joseph de Baie and others.
