Kutaisi was awarded a 30,000 euro grant from the EU4Culture project for the “Public Art Festival” project. This initiative seeks to enhance the city’s cultural development strategy and promote a diverse cultural environment. The festival will feature public installations, performances, residencies, artistic meetings, and educational activities.
The first “Public Art Festival” in Georgia will revolve around literature and take place within the Kutaisi UNESCO City of Literature framework. Partner organizations are “Platform for Changes” and “Culture and Management Lab.”
The grant from the EU4Culture project aims to bolster the sustainability of cultural development strategies established in 2022.
